There are only 10 days left until the entry deadline for the 2009 Los Angeles Student ADDY Competition. There is a late deadline one week later, but that comes with a late fee so we encourage you to get your entries in by the first deadline.
The American Advertising Federation Student ADDY Awards Competition is a unique national awards program designed specially for college students. Work entered in the Los Angeles competition will be judged by advertising professionals and be eligible to receive local awards. Winners then move up to AAF District 15 competition to be judged against the winners in other local competitions from throughout Southern California and Southern Nevada. Then District winners advance to the national finals against the other 14 district winners from all over the country. Each of the last several years, Los Angeles Competition Students have gone on to win national gold awards.
Applicants must be enrolled full- or part-time in an accredited U.S. educational institution. Student interns are eligible to enter.
Submit work developed specifically for this competition or from previous projects or student contests (work must be created while the entrant is a student not employed in the advertising industry).
The deadline for entries is January 22, 2009.
